Our class has read many books aloud throughout the year.  What did you like or dislike about reading aloud?  Do you think I should continue reading to my students in the years to come? Let’s discuss what you think.

Also, tell me what your favorite story was and why.  Some of the stories we read aloud were, The Penderwicks, Flying Solo, Flipped, Nothing’s Fair in Fifth Grade,  Something Upstairs, and There’s a Boy in the Girls’ Bathroom.

Tell me about your favorite character in the story, The Penderwicks.  Why do you like this character the best? Who does this character remind you of?

 Welcome to my blog. It is my hope that my students can use this tool to discuss the books that are read aloud in class by the teacher.  It can also be used as a discussion board for the books read by the students in their literature circles. Each student is expected to respond to a question or discussion.
